Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement (CRM)

Deep Functional

This track will deep dive on any Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement or legacy Dynamics CRM functional use scenarios to better help the key users in an organisation use deeper out of the box application functionality. For those who are new or responsible for their Dynamics 365 CRM environment, topics may include setup, security, relationships, data management, integration, workflow, optimization best practices, and functional learning around Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service, Portals, Customer Insights, Artificial Intelligence, etc. 

Technical: Managing and Extending

This track covers both code and no-code customisations and technical considerations that enable Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement to work better for an organisation. Deployment, development, advanced configuration and customisation, and other technical topics may be shared as well as use cases based on out-of-the-box functionality and extensions to the basic functionality.

PowerPlatform for Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement 

This track covers platform options and insights for Dynamics 365 that provide complementary technologies that support, extend, or even simplify your use of application.  Technologies and topics around Power BI, CDS, PowerApps (both Canvas or Model Driven), Flow, and AI Builder may be shared. 

Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations (AX)

Application Lifecycle Management for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (AX)

This track includes technical sessions on all aspects of Application Lifecycle Management, including managing One Version updates, previews, extensions, and production releases for both on-premises and cloud deployments as well as upgrades from AX 2009 and AX 2012 to Dynamics 365 F&O. Sessions on DevOps tasks, unit testing, and the build and release cycle are included. Topics can include sessions on developing in X++, testing including unit testing and user acceptance testing, and managing environments from sandbox to production. 

Data Migration and Data Integrations Dynamics 365 F&O (AX)

The focus in these sessions lies on the process of planning, implementing, developing and maintaining data-driven integrations and data management in AX 2012 and Dynamics 365 F&O. Topics may cover integration of ISV solutions as part of the implementation process, how to build integrations between Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations and:

  • Microsoft’s Power Platform ( PowerApps, Power BI and Flow)
  • Dynamics 365 for Talent
  • Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, cfr Prospect to Cash, and also data migration during upgrade. 

Implementing and Extending the Functionality of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (AX)

This track includes advanced-level sessions on everything related to planning, implementing, and using the feature functionality of Dynamics 365 F&O, as well as sessions for developers about extending the functionality. Sessions will cover customer deployments and use cases that are based on out-of-the-box functionality as well as extensions to the basic functionality that can integrate with Microsoft’s Power Platform or other external systems. Extensions can include low-code or no-code solutions, as well as implementations and integrations using traditional coding methods.
